- Where can I sell a Rolex or other luxury watch in Buenos Aires?
- At Relojes Exclusivos BA we buy and take on consignment luxury watches (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega, Cartier, Audemars Piguet and more) in Recoleta. Daniel Varela, an appraiser of watches and fine jewelry since 1984, evaluates the piece and makes you an offer the same day. We attend by private appointment at Av. Alvear 1712 (between Rodríguez Peña and Av. Callao) and also over WhatsApp.
- Do you appraise watches and jewelry free of charge?
- Yes. Appraisals are free and with no obligation to sell. You can send photos via WhatsApp for a preliminary value range the same day, or book a private appointment at our Recoleta house for an in-hand evaluation.
- Do you buy gold, inherited jewelry and antique pieces? How do you pay?
- We buy gold, inherited jewelry, antique pieces and signed jewelry. We pay in cash, in US dollars or in pesos at the day rate, with a formal receipt and under absolute discretion.
- Who appraises the pieces and what are their credentials?
- Pieces are evaluated by Daniel Varela, a gemologist and appraiser of fine jewelry and watches active since 1984, a valuer for houses such as Escasany, Ricciardi and The Watch Gallery. Every appraisal is based on the specific piece and the current international market, not on generic averages.
- Where are you located and how do you receive clients?
- We are at Av. Alvear 1712 (between Rodríguez Peña and Av. Callao), Recoleta, Buenos Aires. We attend by private appointment Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and also arrange home visits for collections that cannot be moved.
- Do you buy vintage watches or pieces without box and papers?
- Yes. We buy and appraise vintage watches and pieces without box or papers: missing documentation does not void the value if the piece is authentic and the provenance is coherent. We authenticate by reference, caliber and condition.
- Do the watches you sell come with a warranty?
- Yes. Each watch is delivered verified by our experts, with the house 12-month guarantee of authenticity and functioning (excluding breakage and misuse).
- Do you hold watch auctions?
